Philippines - Update following severe weather conditions

Further to EmIS 166/2026, the designated operator of the Philippines, Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost), wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that normal postal operations have resumed in the following areas: National Capital Region, Rizal, Cavite, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro and Bulacan.   However, the prevailing weather conditions are continuing to affect the following areas:   •           Ilocos Sur •           Ilocos Norte •           La Union •           Pangasinan •           Abra •           Benguet •           Kalinga •           Mountain Province •           Apayao •           Batanes •           Nueva Vizcaya •           Zambales •           Tarlac •           Pampanga •           Bataan   These adverse weather conditions may affect the collection, processing, transportation and delivery of mail items to and from the affected areas. Consequently, delays beyond the normal delivery standards may be experienced.   PHLPost is monitoring the situation closely and will resume normal operations in affected areas as soon as weather and local conditions permit and it is safe to do so. Updates will be provided via EmIS once the situation has returned to normal and postal operations in the affected areas have been fully restored.   PHLPost apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these circumstances and thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding and cooperation.
